I’ve gotten more comfortable with searching out higher prices (for clothing & other goods). If the person who made That Thing is being paid a living wage, and if it’s well-made, it’s going to cost substantially more than what I’ve gotten used to. Often, though, the only choices are items made in sweatshops, sometimes by actual slave labor. Lots more needs to happen. (I thank @patrickrhone for pointing me in the costly but right direction re clothing.)
