Our grandson, and we, have been having a tremendously good time at “Firefighter Camp” put on by our local fire department. Here, every child can fulfill their fantasy of operating a firehose! About 150 campers are taking part in the 3-day camp, held at our town park.
I’d expected mostly boys & a few girls. Sex ratio is closer to 50-50.
Many thanks to our Fire Department and all the others helping to make this happen. It really makes me feel as if I live in a community .
