Revisiting a question: If/when there’s a Wordle6, should there be more chances to keep the difficulty about the same? At first I thought, obviously yes, because the field of possible words increases (or does it?). Then I realized that with a fixed pool of 26 letters, the set of candidate letters goes down faster with each guess. So I’ve decided the math is beyond me.
