Oddly entertaining: Cory Doctorow reviews a graphic-novel bio of Ernie Bushmiller, creator of the Nancy comic strip, by Bill Griffith, creator of the Zippy comic strip. I’ve never liked Zippy but came away with a new appreciation of Nancy as a herald of stylistic minimalism & surreal content in the comics.
