Last night we watched Summer of Soul. Quite an experience, with the Buffalo shooting fresh in our minds. Recommended to anyone who loves music and/or wants to recall some of the struggle for black equality in this country. (I was in college in NYC in 1969 when this little-remembered festival was happening nearby. I knew nothing about it then, but the movie brought back a lot of memories of the scene at that time.)
