A statue of Emperor Haile Selassie was torn down in London. I thought this might be an especially crazy example of the current iconoclasm fashion in the western world, but it seems that it had to do with Ethiopian politics. Still, it’s a good excuse to post Bob Marley’s “War”, whose words are taken from a speech that the Emperor gave at the UN in 1963. Listen up.
